Wheels and tires
Wheels and tires face the most wear out of any part on a vehicle, yet
most people don’t even notice them (unless they experience a flat).
A couple minute checks could prevent some costly repairs down the road.
To ensure the well-being of a vehicle’s wheels and tires:
• Check the air pressure
• Inspect for damage/wear-and-tear
• Check and tighten wheel nuts regularly
• Consult a mechanic or handbook if there are any questions
Checking the air pressure of the wheels and tires of a vehicle is probably
the most important part of maintenance. Pressure gauges are relatively
inexpensive and can be bought at most gas stations. Kicking a tire does
not provide a good idea of how much air there is in it–in fact,
it does nothing at all.
